**Requirements**:
Post Matric Qualification
Trade tested artisan in class 1 trades electro / mechanical / hydraulics - or equivalent with a NQF Level 3 - 6.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in respective trade.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar leadership role

**Responsibilities**:
Ability to read and understand Hydraulic and Electrical drawings (Hydraulic Troubleshooting / Electromechanical repairs)
Experience on construction machinery (Electrical / Mechanical / Hydraulic)
Supervisory experience
Excellent verbal and written skills (English Language)
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent leadership and negotiation skills
Exceptional communication skills
Team player and ability to continue and complete tasks without supervision in a timeous manner
Deadline and Timeline driven
Computer skills - Good Microsoft Office Suite (Report Writing required)
Good Organizational and Time Management skills
An aptitude in problem-solving ability
Operate under pressure
Communicates with workshop Manager for work required
Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met
Plan the arrangement of machines in the workshop
Assess order priorities and assign to employees, accordingly, ensuring that work is on schedule
Manage and motivate teams, training, and discipline of staff with respect to ensure productivity targets are met
Communicate and respond as required with other departments and customers (internal and external)
Training of new employees
Ensure clear understanding of all issues like safety and company rules so that proper procedures are always followed and ensuring adherence by staff
Takes charge of staff, maintaining the camaraderie, delegating responsibilities, mentoring young workers and ensuring the output is completed successfully
Attend to any other function as requested by management with scope of main responsibilities
Overseeing all work done in workshop effectively
Mounting of all equipment
Inspections and Certification of all equipment
Attending to breakdowns
Coordinate technicians for standby emergencies
Be able, willing, and ready to travel in Africa and locally
Ad hoc tasks - From time to time it will be expected for the Workshop Foreman to participate in projects; tasks etc. outside the official responsibilities but within the scope of company sales related requirements (e.g., Stock take etc.)
