**ICT Governance Consultant - COBIT Specialist**

**Kagiso & Co**, a leading provider of ICT governance solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ICT Governance Consultant to join our growing team.

**Role Purpose**:This role plays a pivotal role in assisting clients in achieving optimal ICT governance maturity through the implementation of COBIT frameworks. You will leverage your expertise in COBIT5 and/or COBIT2019 to assess existing processes, identify improvement areas, and guide clients towards achieving their ICT governance goals.

**Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership**:
1. **Lead and conduct COBIT process maturity assessments**:You will independently design, execute, and report on COBIT5 and/or COBIT2019 process maturity assessments for client organisations.

2. **Develop and implement COBIT-aligned solutions**: Leverage your COBIT expertise to design and implement tailored solutions, including policies, plans, and procedures, that enhance clients' IT governance practices.

3. **Provide expert guidance and recommendations**:Advise clients on best practices for ICT governance based on COBIT frameworks, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.

4. **Manage client relationships**:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, effectively communicating complex technical concepts and project progress.

5. **Contribute to the development of COBIT thought leadership**:Actively participate in knowledge sharing initiatives within the company, staying up-to-date on the latest COBIT developments.

**Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience**:
1. **Proven experience**:Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICT governance consulting, with a demonstrable track record of success in performing or developing COBIT5 or COBIT2019 process assessments and implementations.

2. **COBIT Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of COBIT frameworks (COBIT5 and/or COBIT2019), including a strong understanding of COBIT principles, processes, and control objectives.

3. **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**: The ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

4. **Project Management Skills**: Proven ability to manage and deliver COBIT-related projects on time and within budget.

5. **Analytical and problem-solving skills**:A strong ability to identify and analyse ICT governance challenges, and develop effective solutions.

**Key Performance Indicators**:
1. Number of successful COBIT process maturity assessments conducted.

2. Client satisfaction ratings for delivered COBIT-based solutions.

3. Successful implementation rate of COBIT-aligned policies, plans, and procedures for clients.

4. Contribution to the development of internal COBIT knowledge sharing initiatives.

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Engineering or similar.
- Certified in COBIT5 and/or COBIT2019
- Minimum of 3 years experience in ICT governance consulting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project management skills to manage and deliver COBIT-related projects on time and within budget.
- Proven track record of success in performing or developing COBIT process assessments and implementations, with reference letters demonstrating this experience.

**Salary**:Market Related
