We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.

Job Functions:

- Responsible for full Creditors Book
- Capturing monthly supplier invoices, understanding the difference between cost of sales and expenses
- Understanding of VAT
- Liaising with suppliers with regards to account queries and anomalies and solving queries
- Reconciling Supplier Account Statement (Creditors Reconciliation) to books
- Preparing payment schedules of Domestic and Foreign payments
- Loading payments for supplier based on supplier terms and ad hoc payments
- Processing journals
- Monthly Financial reporting of Full Creditors Aging
- Cashbook processing
- And any other tasks requested by management

**Requirements**:

- Accounting Certificate (advantageous)
- Proven accounting payable experience
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
