Alarm Technician

Install, service, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on our client's intrusion detection (ALARM) product portfolio as directed effectively and cost-effectively.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience monitoring, testing, and repairing intrusion detection systems ensuring that they are functioning properly at all times.
- Test and repair system components, such as sensors, circuits, and wiring.
- Needs to have knowledge/training on including but not limited to JABLOTRON, Paradox, MAMI, Caddax, RF alarm signal transmission and any other major alarm systems technologies.
- Must be able to work independently with limited or remote direction.
- Must have a strong understanding of electronics and electrical systems in order to install and repair alarm systems.
- Conducting security audits to identify weaknesses in security systems or processes.
- Must have good team communication and paperwork management skills, observe and promote safe working practices (SHEQ compliance).
- Must have valid South African driver’s license and ID, **willing to relocate to Emalahleni** as post is full time on the local Coal mines.

Salary negotiable.

- Witbank, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- technical alarm system: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- South African Drivers license and Identity Document (preferred)
