**Duties**

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Mentor and support learners to achieve a theoretical and practical understanding of modern software development practices
- Implementing software solutions to fulfil clients' requirements.
- Leading and managing learners
- Reporting to management on the progress of the products and development of the learners.
- Ensuring that your skills and understanding is up to date

**Criteria**

**Essential**
- 1-3+ years of relevant experience in the Software Development industry
- Experience with any programming language
- Experience with any frontend framework (React, vue, angular, etc)
- Experience with backend development
- Experience with databases (SQL or NOSQL)
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a productive team member, within an environment where there are time constraints and the pressure of project deliverables
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders and ensure an engaged, productive team and client culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to contribute effectively in / and facilitate meetings, write clear and precise user stories, packaged releases, and technical documentation.
- A clear understanding of how to work in an agile environment using SCRUM principles and tools (GIT, Trello etc)
- Passion for teaching others

**Desirable**
- Experience working with Docker
- Experience with hosting on any platform
- Experience with Postgresql and MongoDB

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R16,000.00 per month
