Slicing Supervisor

**Qualification Requirements**:

- Matric
- A baking certificate is an advantage

**Experience Requirements**:

- 3 year’s manufacturing experience is required

**Key Outputs**:

- Prepare daily assigned operational requirements in accordance with the production plan by making sure that there are available raw materials/semi-finished products/packaging materials and relevant utilities, and adequate safety and work equipment at the commencement of the shift (and during the shift) if required or instructed to do so by the direct manager or his delegated nominee.
- Performs production operations (and when required assists other machine operations) according to the production plan and in accordance with SHERQ and Quality requirements related to FSSC.
- Cleans his/her workplace as per the defined cleaning procedures
- Performs and executes change over’s, adjustments, and minor operational repairs for the equipment/machines that he/she works with so as to minimize production wastage and improve output
- Slicing Operator is responsible for making decisions on the line should there be a mechanical or electrical problem leading to a deviation from machine speed, efficiency, safety, or quality expectations
- Performs all reasonable requests in relation to the operational requirements of the line, machinery, and process packaging.
- Reports (verbal and/or written) at the end of each shift of the achieved volumes and/or deviations to the new shift and to the direct manager or his delegated nominee
- Ability to transport required stock with completed products from the factory to the dispatch area and to transport requested stock from the warehouse to the respective production areas
