**Title: Stock Controller**
**Location: KZN Logyard (Durban)**
**The Role**
Join our team at Merensky Timber, KZN Logyard, as a Stock Controller and help us manage stock levels, ensure secure storage, and oversee the smooth dispatch of timber. If you have experience working in a depot environment, can work independently, and have a strong focus on customer service, we would love to hear from you
**Qualifications**:
- Post Matric qualification in logistics / supply chain management
**Experience**:
- At least two years’ experience in the stock control function
- Experience in the timber industry is recommended
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations
- Experience with ERP systems and relevant SOPs
- Interpersonal and conflict management skills, with experience in relationship building
- Product knowledge relevant to the timber industry
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent numerical and organizational skills
- Strong planning abilities to prioritize tasks and maximize output
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Professional verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on excellent customer service
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a warehouse environment
- Adaptable to the physical and operational demands of a warehouse environment
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a sales-focused, results-driven setting
- Alignment with Merensky’s purpose and values
