Retail Credit Controller

Our client is a leading real estate investment business who have built up a strong portfolio of retail, commercial and residential assets both locally and abroad. This versatile business also oversees the management of their assets through their in-house property management company. With capacity in their busy Johannesburg team, they are currently looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to oversee a retail portfolio with a little over 1000 tenants.
Reporting directly to the Credit Control Manager, making up a small team of 3, you will be responsible for collection of arrears, deposit queries, monthly billing, performing reconciliations, writing off bad debt, handing over to the legal team and assisting the leasing team with various ad hoc tasks.
The successful incumbent will have a finance related qualification with 3 to 5 years' experience in credit control and at least 2 years' experience in the retail field. The administrative role requires someone who has a keen eye for detail and master's proficiency using the MDA software.
