**Brand and Social Media Manager**

**About the job**

We are looking to appoint a Brand Manager who will take ownership of our social media and brand visibility in order to increase our online presence. Social media is a part of our broader marketing function which plays an integral part in shaping the future of our South African operation, enabling us to reach a wider target audience.

As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to and implementing our broader marketing strategy in the social media space by creating and managing compelling content on our various social media channels. You will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's online voice, connecting with our target audience, and monitoring performance metrics to drive meaningful results.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Manage and expand digital brand awareness
- Development and implementation of the social media strategy
- Content Development & Management
- Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance
- Data analysis
- Adhoc duties
- Content and copywriting

**Technical/Behavioural Competencies**:

- Strategic thinking
- Project Management
- Solid understanding of the various social media platforms
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Research
- Understanding of the various analytical tools available on each of the platforms
- Knowledge and understanding of the various platforms to optimism spend and insights.
- Target orientated. Budgeting

**Minimum Criteria Required**:

- Matric
- Marketing Diploma / Degree (min NQF 6) preferable digital marketing
- A minimum of 2 years experience operating in a similar role
