- Our Retail and Business Banking Digital Design Team is looking for a CX Researcher to contribute to Nedbank's design solutions by discovering, interpreting and communicating findings, insights and opportunities in an actionable way. In this role you will be required to ensure that research is grounded in a deep and contextual understanding of what matters to the people we're designing for.- This role will provide you with the unique opportunity to tap into a broad understanding of various research methods and approaches and execute the correct research methodology/approach to bridge the gap between where our customers are, and where they want to be. We look forward to reviewing your CV.**Responsibilities**:

- Determine appropriate research methods/approach based on the underlying design challenge
- Conduct both primary and secondary Design Research with CX, UX, UI and DL
- Prepare research data to enable CX Designer to synthesise (possibly assist with Design Synthesis)
- Discover, interpret and communicate findings, insights and opportunities (in collaboration with CX, UX, UI and DL)
- Develop test plans and protocols (in collaboration with UX, UI and DL)Design and execute usability tests, heuristic evaluations, user interviews and surveys.
- Hypothesis testing with CX,UX, UI and DL
- Discover, interpret and communicate findings, insights and opportunities to various stakeholders.
- Design protocol based on an understanding of the underlying questions the test seeks to address.
- Co-facilitate and/or co-moderate testing sessions.
- Transcribe testing material (where required) from audio/video/spoken word.
- Capture multimedia (audio, video, webcam) recording of testing sessions.
- Maintain a view on the overall objective of testing and ensure that we're executing with the end in mind.
- Analyse test findings (including verbal/behavioural cues, pass/fail criteria etc).
- Conduct playbacks and provide UX recommendations to squad members and stakeholders.
- Essential Qualifications- Matric plus academic and/or professional Design, Social Sciences or Behavioural Science qualification or equivalent
- Preferred Qualifications- Usability Analysis Certificate preferred
- Minimum Experience Level- 6+ years of research experience with a specific focus on Design Research (Integrate various methods to form a coherent view of overall research efforts)
- Types Of Exposures- Design research based on an understanding of the underlying questions the research seeks to address
- Co-facilitate and/or co-moderate research sessions
- Transcribe research material from audio/video/spoken word
- Maintain a view on the overall objective of research and ensure that we're executing with the end in mind
- Communicate research findings to design colleagues and stakeholders
- Design experience
- UX wireframing Mentored by a senior researcher
- Involved in the Design Community (talks, meetups etc.)
