Parts Picker

We are seeking an experienced Parts Picker for our client based in the Automotive Industry in Pinetown, KZN.

**Duties**:

- Handling of telephonic queries for the Sales Department when required
- Understanding of office dynamics
- Dealing with courier services for sending and receiving parts
- Ensuring that the parts area both downstairs and upstairs is maintained and walkways are clean and easily accessible
- To ensure that over-stocking is brought to the Part’s Manager’s attention
- To ensure stock damage and wastage does not exceed agreed limits
- To provide Parts Manager with weekly/monthly/annual stock takes in order to ensure that accuracy is maintained at all times
- To ensure that stock availability is always at 100%, providing that stock is readily available from JHB
- To ensure that stock records are up to date and accurate
- To deal with suppliers of consumables when on site and when placing orders
- Ensuring that all consumables are handled and recorded accurately
- To contribute to departmental and dealership marketing plans as required
- To secure stores from fire, damage or theft by implementing company policies
- To ensure discount policy is observed
- To ensure full valuation received for items returned for credit
- Monitor suppliers prices and report significant changes to Parts Manager
- Control of both the specialised tool room for the workshop, ensuring it is maintained and all tools are signed out for in order to ensure control as well as the warranty parts store
- To ensure customer service and retention by providing first class service

**Requirements**:

- Matric Certificate
- Minimum 3-5 Years’ experience in similar role.
- Accuracy and show great attention to detail
- Team Player
- Excellent Human Relations
- Confident and proactive approach - anticipates issues and requirements
- Physically fit
- Good communication skills
- Computer Literate
