**Core Description**:
Responsible for interaction with CIO and CTO Leadership and EXCO team to deliver superior commercial analysis and decision support in terms of any capital and or operating investment. Accountable for financial strategy & planning, monitoring, management and reporting, including management and development of financial systems and processes. Transfer pricing of services rendered to Telkom BUs and implement pricing principles for direct charges. Ensure close relationship with Finance, Procurement and Business to facilitate strategic initiatives of CTO/ CIO. Lead and manage the CTO/ CIO Finance Team. Manage accountability for support, tracking and controlling: Budget (Opex and Capex allocations), actual spend and processes, Business cases, Balance Sheet key indicators, Transfer pricing, Contracts administered by the Business Unit.**

Registration with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)

**Qualifications**:
Chartered Accountant (NQF level 8.

**Experience**:
7 years relevant experience, of which at least 5 years should preferably be post articles.

**Special Requirements**:
This role is designed for a Chartered Accountant with 5 to 7 years post article experience who enjoys researching and analysing the financial reporting and technical aspects of accounting.
Experience with accounting in accordance with IFRS.
Experience researching and documenting accounting treatment for various transactions, including complex accounting concepts.
Ability to deal tactfully and confidently with internal and external customers.
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills /ability to continually prioritize workload and respond to top priorities with a sense of urgency.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
SAP/ Hyperion experience a plus.
