Intership Trainee

**Job Title**: Internship.

**Location**: Atlantis, Western Cape

**Job Type**: Internship (Full-Time).

**About the Role**:
We are offering a unique opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented intern to gain hands-on experience in the biomedical, medicinal cannabis production and pharmaceuticals industry. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn about cannabis cultivation, post-harvest operations, compliance, and operational optimization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support daily cultivation activities, including planting, monitoring, and harvesting.
- Contribute to the implementation of Integrated Pest and Disease Management Programs (IPDM) by assisting in monitoring and documentation.
- Participate in post-harvest operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in troubleshooting tasks and suggest potential improvements to optimize workflow.
- Work with the operations and maintenance teams on a regular basis.
- Assist with facility and operational compliance in line with GMP, GACP, GWP, SAHPRA and DAFF requirements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Agriculture (Plant Production, Horticulture, Agronomy, Crop Sciences,) or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to reliably commute to Atlantis, Western Cape.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Valid driver's license is advantageous.
- Availability for a full-time internship.
