Dispatch Assistant

**Job Overview**

The incumbent will be responsible for Locating and relocating of semi-final and final products electronically to and from Dispatch.

**Minimum Educational Requirements**
- Matriculation

**Skills Required**:

- Must reside in / surrounding Atlantis or Witsand
- Good product knowledge
- Understanding of quality requirements
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS)
- Computer literacy
- Use of electronic Stripform Production Application System and Syspro
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Valid driver’s license Code 08 or 10

**Special Requirements**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to embrace change, last
- minute requests, and tight deadlines

**Minimum Experience Required**:

- 1 year experience in a similar position within the manufacturing environment.

**Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to**:

- Ensures correct information per product type is captured on Stripform’s Production Application System and Syspro to locate and relocate products to and from dispatch
- Ensures that identification labels are scanned and printed correctly and placed on the products
- Indicates how many parcels to be delivered per customer and ensures that the quantities correspond with the quantities on the waybills
- Ensures that all trucks are contaminate free, locked, and escorted off the premises with the accompanying documents
- Assists with other tasks where required in the Dispatch Department
- Load, off load and issue of raw materials where needed
- Booking of Over Print production
- Issue and collect products to and from Final Inspection
- Assist with driving in need of collections / drop-offs
- Ensure that you comply with all Health and Safety Instructions
- Work in a safe and orderly manner
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment always.
- Adheres to dress code in accordance with safety policies.
- Ensure safe stacking and storage of all materials and production
- Pack, check and book items accurately to meet quality standards to QMS.
- Meeting quality standards for service and on time deliveries
- Evaluate customer satisfaction
- Identify incidents of non-conformity and raise alert.

- Atlantis, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
