**Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklifts and reach trucks to safely move and stack materials in the warehouse, ensuring precise placement and careful handling.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and pallets, verifying quantities and ensuring proper stacking and securing of loads.
- Utilize forklift attachments such as clamps, extensions, and rotating forks as necessary for specific tasks.
- Conduct routine pre-operation checks on forklifts and reach trucks, including inspection of brakes, tires, fluids, and other essential components.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following warehouse safety guidelines.
- Follow established procedures for picking, packing, and organizing items for storage and shipment.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory counts and efficient storage of materials.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, including the maintenance of aisles, racks, and storage spaces.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues related to equipment promptly to the supervisor or maintenance team.
- Communicate effectively with fellow workers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including manual lifting, inventory checks, and other tasks.
- Complete documentation accurately, including logging items moved, maintenance checks, and any incidents or accidents.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid forklift operator certification for both standard forklifts and reach trucks.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and reach trucks in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to forklift and reach truck operation.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate movement and placement of materials.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception for precise maneuvering.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize tasks.
- Problem-solving skills to navigate tight spaces and obstacles while operating the equipment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflow demands.
- Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
