- To create a compelling a compelling and cohesive customer value proposition across Nedbank for Solar Financing and effectively scale the various CVPs. Align the product strategy with the overall enterprise Sustainable Development Goal (SDG7). The Senior Product Manager represents the business stakeholders and is the voice of the customer, guiding execution teams delivering value to the business according to the product vision and roadmap.**Responsibilities**:

- Must operate autonomously with a small team of key qualified individuals across Retail and Business Banking from various disciplines in the organization including UX, CX, Credit Risk, Procurement, etc.
- Must deliver enhancements in the form of MVPs to enable a frictionless Solar Financing Process across all segments.
- The Snr Product Manager must be accountable for the overall PV solar product decisions including but not limited to, the product strategy, product roadmap and stakeholder engagement and management.
- Together with the core team, it is their responsibility that the key features required to meet the market needs are clearly articulated and followed through into execution by the relevant asset teams.
- Accountable for pulling various offerings currently available throughout Nedbank (e.g. Homeloans vs ABF vs PL, Consumer vs Commercial, etc.) into a cohesive offering into the market.
- Engage extensively with internal and external stakeholders in various spheres in order to scale the product. External to Nedbank this includes Government, Regulatory Bodies, etc. Internally, various Sustainability forums, Risk, Legal, Compliance, etc.
- Must be able to make decisions based on evidential facts and analytics, customer feedback and Product metrics. This must inform the roadmap for the Solar Product as well as the iterations of the features/ enhancement required.
- Work with internal teams, coordinating day to day activities with various Product Owners and Scrum Masters such as sprints, retrospectives, planning and other agile functions to ensure collaboration and effective delivery of user stories against milestone objectives.
- Work with internal teams to commercialize in selected market segments to drive scale.
- Approve the final release plan and accept all deliverables against defined user stories and acceptable criteria.
- Analyse and report delivery risks and opportunities and engage stakeholders for communication and decision making.
- Coordinate and inform the development and management of backlog and user stories for implementation.
- Clearly articulate user stories for enhancement and initiatives that will enable growth and scaling the product.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Market scanning and competitor analysis while keeping track of industry trends.
- Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values.
- Stay abreast of developments in the field of expertise.
- Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of role and responsibilities.
- Seek opportunities of improving business process, models and systems through agile thinking.
