A reputable Company is seeking for an experienced, highly motivated and results-oriented Junior Sales, Marketing and Merchandising Representatives to join their dynamic sales team in Kwazulu-Natal.
In this role, you will be a key driver of new business development within the FMCG sector (i.e. Spar, Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers and Garden Centers / Lifestyle Centers), while also nurturing relationships with existing clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through various lead generation activities, including cold calling, networking, and relationship building within the FMCG market (i.e. Spar, Pick ‘n Pay, Checkers and Garden Centers / Lifestyle Centers).
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and effectively present tailored sales solutions to meet those needs.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- External sales representation, merchandising, promotions and pricing
- Constructing of POS (Point of Sale) and promoting sales by creatively building stands
- Maintain and service existing clients
- Follow a sales planning system including weekly call cycles that result in optimum utilisation of time and resources
- Negotiation with store managers professionally and confidently, resulting in attaining preferred shelf-space within retail stores
- Provide feedback daily to management and communicate efficiently
- Appropriately deal with trade-related issues or queries at store level
- Be productive at all times
- Implement and maintain an aggressive and creative sales process
- Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers
- Ensure good administration and stock management (and pickup of orders)
- Ensure that your own technical knowledge is of a high standard
- Ensure that your sales targets are met at all times and that the business consistently grows
**Requirements and skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Well, presented
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Fluent in Afrikaans, English
- Must have Grade 12
- Positive and energetic
- Self-motivated
- Trustworthy
- Must be detailed oriented and be able to follow detailed instructions
- Must possess good customer service skills and be customer-focused
- Must have own vehicle and a valid drivers license
- Willingness to work from Monday to Friday and 2x Saturdays in a month
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal).
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel
- Openness to promoting and selling a diverse range of products within the FMCG environment
**Must have**:
- Proven track record of 1 year success in a sales role.
- Experience of at least 2 years of working within the FMCG market
Pay: R19 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
