Global Water Solutions (GWS) is seeking a talented and driven Retail Sales Representative to join our passionate sales force in South Africa, focusing on all the GWS products, but with particular focus on Water Treatment and filtration. **Please note this is a Junior Position.** GWS is a leading global manufacturer of pressure tanks and water enhancement products. The Retail Sales Representative will directly report to the Regional Director - Africa and will be based in Gauteng. Roles and Responsibilities: - Build and maintain rapport with the hardware outlet branches we are dealing with. - Visit on a rotational call cycle basis of 6 weeks, so extensive travel is a key part of this position—possibly three days every week, up to two weeks. - Grow the client's purchases where we have limited exposure. - Ensure "inactive" branches are persuaded to start buying again. - Perform analysis of prospects and design solutions that best meet customer needs. Be the "go-to person" when it comes to problem-solving and offering suggestions to suit customer requirements. - Gain adequate technical knowledge of our products and their usage by continually reading and familiarizing yourself with what each product is used for. - Attend regional trade shows and expos to promote GWS and its products. - Provide clear and accurate reporting of sales outcomes and activities to management. - Meet and exceed the given and agreed-upon monthly and annual sales targets. - Complete adequate physical sales calls in all given areas to ensure that targets are met and exceeded. - Participate in sales and business training programs to improve sales performance. - Manage the budget for travel expenses.
