Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Production Supervisor based in Firgrove to plan, organize, and monitor workflow on the production floor and to improve employee efficiency to maximize production output and profits, ensuring quality is upheld during all phases throughout production.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure production floor is clean and safe for all staff members
- Directing, disciplining, training, and assisting lower-level manufacturing employees in a factory setting
- Supervises staff to produce quality manufactured products
- Plan, organize and monitor workflow
- Accomplishing manufacturing results
- Maintains team by recruiting, selecting, onboarding, training, and mentoring employees
- Maintaining stock levels, monitoring and upgrading processes
- Evaluating equipment for efficiency and calling for repairs, implementing cost reductions and developing reporting procedures and systems
- Completing production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring progress and reporting results of the processing flow on production summaries
- Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data
- Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, suggesting improvement of processes to reduce unnecessary costs
- Maintain quality output by establishing and enforcing production standards
- Maintaining/improving professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/courses
- Preparing reports on performance and progress and presenting them to senior managers
- Addressing production problems swiftly finding workable solutions
- Organizing for the repair or replacement of faulty production equipment
- Identifying needs for new equipment
- Reporting damages to equipment, resources or building to manager
- Reporting on team performance to production manager
- Implementing recommended manufacturing cost reduction strategies

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years' experience within a Production Supervisor role
