Our client is a family owned business which has evolved into a highly respected property investment enterprise that owns and manages a multi-billion property portfolio across Southern Africa and abroad. Their core business involves the expansion of its property portfolio through both direct acquisition and Greenfield development. The groups diverse portfolio incorporates interests in the retail, office and industrial market segments. This mall has been trading exceptionally well for several years and has become a commerce hub not only for its residents but also miners and farmers from surrounding areas and tourists too. For this 26,000sqm centre, based in the Northern Cape, they require a seasoned Centre Manager to take charge and join their team. You will be required to take full responsibility for the entire centre function, from maintenance projects, to maintaining relationships with tenants and customers and ensuring that leases and administration is up to date. Conducting annual risk and exposure analysis, as well completing monthly performance analysis will be a great deal of your responsibilities. Marketing strategy through market research and intelligence will require your attention. For business operations and alignment with the group strategy, you must ensure that property administration is well adhered to and up to date. To be successful in this job, you need to have a solid background in property, facilities management and experience of retail property fundamentals. Your overall Property career will exceed 4 years where you have gained experience in financials, leasing, property management, marketing & facilities management for a retail centre or a retail portfolio.
