Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint three (3) Cylinder Preparation Artisans within the Gravure Pre-Press department to ensure the delivery the delivery of high-quality cylinders at the correct time to the pressroom. The successful incumbent will report to the Senior Cylinder Preparation Artisan in the department.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of cylinders for engraving as per quality including the use of the polish master
- Engraving of cylinders as per quality standards
- Chroming of cylinders for press readiness as per quality standards
- Operating of various overhead crane systems and cylinder transport devices
- Preform the various production tasks using the correct procedures and completing relevant checklist
- The position also requires the person to be responsible for daily and preventative maintenance of various machines

**Educational Requirements**:

- Qualified Artisan in the Photo Gravure Cylinder Processing Trade

**Experience Requirements**:

- Experience in operating of engraving and Galvano plating machines
- Preferably, 5 to 6 years’ experience in the Photogravure Pre
- Press environment
- In depth knowledge of the photogravure process
