**Exchange Control Specialist (Cape Town)**

Our client is looking to add a seasoned individual who is well equipped with foreign exchange markets and currencies. Achieving extraordinary outcomes on this role would need someone who appreciates client engagement and is comfortable with international customer relationship management.

**Summary of position**:
To have full accountability & responsibility for all exchange control related matters. As a member of the Exchange Control Team, you are responsible for ensuring adherence to South Africa’s exchange control regulation, including private and corporate clients.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- To assist and advise clients on all their exchange control requirements, including private individuals and corporate clients
- Maintain the Cfx SARB Approvals Register, ensuring no renewals are missed
- Develop exchange control policies in accordance to regulatory and legislative requirements
- Understand the company’s value proposition and offerings.
- Develop relationship with key stakeholders at our banking partners. This would include travel locally.
- To deliver first class customer management to the business, maximising revenue opportunities whilst building rapport and strong relationships at all levels
- You may from time to time be required to meet clients face to face at our offices.
- Staying abreast of compliance regulations and completing relevant compulsory courses.
- Understanding and use of the CRM system - SalesForce and ensuring all client communication and opportunity /. Task related matters are loaded on Salesforce Job Description
- Attending training when required.
- Responding to requests from your line manager for reports and meetings.
- To adhere to the clients’ code of standards and practice.
- Ensuring that the clients’ procedures are adhered to as per the CDSA Employee Handbook.
- You may also be involved from time to time as and when requested, in other job roles, strategic projects and initiatives.

**Our required expertise**:

- High degree of self-motivation
- Self-starter working efficiently within a team and the business
- Strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
- Effective Customer Relationship Management skills
- Relationship management experience
- Highly organised
- International customer relationship management experience or exposure
- NQF 6 qualification or a succession place in plan to achieve the qualification with 12 months
- Experience - 3 years related experience in exchange control
