Currently we are searching for a Warehouse supervisor for Durban, South Africa.
**Responsibilities of this Post**:
Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
Organise, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals.
Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring the physical stock is in line with the warehouse management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy.
Monitor stock levels in order to highlight minimum and excess levels and therefore prevent part shortages.
Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required.
Deliver efficiencies to support year on year operational budget reduction.
Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements.
Deliver the product to the customer on time, every time using appropriate methods.
Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers.
Build team philosophy and cultivate a team atmosphere by working with the team to achieve the company's targets and objectives.
Planning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse.
**Requirements of this Post**:
Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
Experience in operating in a supervisory capacity.
Meticulous attention to detail and aptitude for figures.
Good telephonic and writing skills.
Critical and analytical thinking.
Good time management and prioritizing capabilities.
