**General Description**

This individual will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as housekeeping, repacking stock, pallet repairs and loading export trucks. They would further be required to support Warehouse Associates when needed with stock put-aways and cycle counts

**Pallet Repairs**
- Conduct daily pallets counts to identify broken and conforming pallets on hand.
- Sort pallets to isolate wooden pallets requiring repairs.
- Repair wooden pallets with the use of hand tools to ensure that those pallets are fit for use.
- Ensure repaired pallets are available for movement to the pallet bank.

Ensure housekeeping is maintained at the pallet repair area and pallet bank.

**Housekeeping**
- Ensure housekeeping is done as directed by the Snr Inventory & Ops Team leader
- Operate the floor scrubber to ensure Warehouse floors are clean
- Use the relevant housekeeping equipment to ensure that the Warehouses are clear of cobwebs and dust build up
- Ensure that bins are emptied as and when required

**Adhoc**

Assisting with ad hoc tasks and enquiries when required.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**

1. Knowledge and understanding of Planning, Warehouse and Distribution principles, activities, and functions (inbound and outbound).

2. Basic understanding of Health and Safety regulatory requirements.

3. Language ability: Must be able to converse, read and write fluently in English.

4. Attention to detail is imperative.

5. Ability to work independently.

6. Must take pride in his/her work.

7. Willing to work overtime as and when required.

8. Willing to work shifts.

9.Resilience to work under pressure

**Minimum Requirements**

1. Grade 12

2.At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in a FMCG industry

**Working Conditions**

1. Ability to work under pressure and to maintain required standards.

2. Willingness to work overtime as and when required.

The ability to manoeuvre and perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.
