Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. *Lesson Planning and Implementation*: Plan and implement a comprehensive and integrated educational program, aligned with the National Curriculum Statement and the school's policies.

2. *Teaching and Learning*: Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promoting active learning, exploration, and discovery.

3. *Assessment and Evaluation*: Continuously assess and evaluate learner progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.

4. *Classroom Management*: Establish and maintain a well-organized and disciplined classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all learners.

5. *Parental Involvement*: Communicate regularly with parents, providing feedback on learner progress, and encouraging parental involvement in the educational process.

6. *Teamwork and Collaboration*: Work collaboratively with colleagues, sharing best practices, and contributing to the development of the school's curriculum.

7. *Professional Development*: Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in Early Childhood Education.

**Requirements**:
1. *Qualifications*: A recognized Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.

2. *Experience*: A minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching Grade R or a similar age group.

3. *Registration*: Registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).

4. *Language*: Fluency in English (spoken and written).

5. *Computer Literacy*: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
