Tax Consultant

Tax Consultant with minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and solid knowledge of the Income Tax Act and tax systems, required to take responsibility for the end to end management of a portfolio of clients (individuals, corporate and trust) for a Chartered Accounting Firm based in Observatory.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the Income Tax Act, tax systems and practical experience in dealing with SARS essential
- 3-5 years’ relevant Tax experience essential - Induvial, Company and Trust Tax
- E-fling experience essential
- Ability to communicate with client directly
- Tertiary qualification beneficial but not essential
- End-to-end management of a portfolio of clients - individuals, corporates and trusts
- Drafting Tac Calculations and Income tax Returns - individuals, Deceased Estates, Trusts and Corporates
- Preparation and submission for provisional tax calculations for individual, companies and trusts
- Sending requests to clients for information
- Checking of Assessments
- Assist with drafting and submission of objections and responses
- to SARS
- Declarations of Ceasing to be Resident
- Approval of International Transfer (AIT) Applications
- Dividends Tax returns
- Account maintenance of all tax types
- Attending SARS Appointments
- Client queries and requests.
