**IT Infrastructure Team Leader**

**Purpose**

The Infrastructure Team Leader role is to ensure the operation of the infrastructure team within the IT department is streamlined and aligned with the business objectives and operational plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning, designing, and implementing IT-related activities ICT Infrastructure
- Provide support for the daily operational activities of operational support services
- Work with other IT department units and staff members, to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the infrastructure and support services for the organization
- Participate in identifying, documenting, and implementing policies, procedures, and best practices pertaining to infrastructure and operations support services.
- Responsible for providing high quality and timely IT infrastructure support to ensure the availability, stability, and performance of the company platforms and corporate systems.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience
- Netapp / Pure and Dell Storage experience
- 2-3 years Team Management experience.
- Technical Diploma in Computer Science
- Engineering, Information Systems or Information Technology or a related certification
- Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)
- VMware Certified Professional
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Server (MCSE)
- Storage area Network (SAN) certification
- Matric

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

**Experience**:

- relevant Infrastructure: 8 years (required)
- team management: 2 years (required)
