**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Lead Learning Architect responsible for driving the development and design of innovative learning experiences that align with established company methodology to introduce new approaches for greater learning experience quality and impact. They collaborate with stakeholders, including internal and external clients, to crystallize and articulate the learning product vision and architecture, which is captured in concept documents.
**PROCESS AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA**
The Lead Learning Architect leads the design and development of products consisting of single or multiple modular experiences concatenated into entire journeys, developed by multi-disciplinary squads to deliver seamlessly integrated products. The performance criteria for this role include specific learning product criteria, such as engagement, effectiveness, relevance, and accessibility, as well as overall criteria of product capability maturity, budget compliance, and governance. As a business leadership role, this role is also evaluated on culture impact.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OUTPUTS**
The Lead Learning Architect accountable for the following:
Client and Learning Solution Architecture Conceptualisation: Collaborating with stakeholders including internal and external clients to crystallize and articulate the learning product vision and architecture (captured in concept documents) - captured in Concept Documents.
Product Development: Leading design and development and personally contributing to products - consisting of single or multiple modular experiences concatenated into entire journeys - developed by multi-disciplinary squads to deliver the seamlessly integrated product.
Product scope includes:
- The MVP documents
- The wireframes, bodies of knowledge, and curated content
- The virtual mediation sessions for facilitators
- The developed platform-based journeys
- The upskilled faculty - The pre-release learning experience quality assurance
- The post-release product impact-measurement, tracking, reporting, and development - in collaboration with delivery capability team.
Capacity: Building the capacity of the design and development ecosystem to release product at the required rate through the availability and development of suitably skilled partners and employees. (This is a shared accountability with the Head: Product Office) Innovation: Identifying, evaluating, and recommending new technologies to enhance the product offering.
- Learner centricity: A deep understanding of learner needs and preferences, and the ability to use this knowledge to inform product decisions and strategies. They should maintain a learner-centric approach to product development, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
- Learning design innovation: The ability to design and develop innovative and creative learning experiences that align with CPS product strategy and roadmap, ensuring the delivery of effective and high-quality learning solutions that meet the needs of company learners.
- Learning technology utilization and innovation: The ability to effectively use learning technology tools and platforms, and to identify and pursue new and emerging learning technologies to enhance learning experiences.
- Strategic thinking: The ability to think critically and strategically, identify opportunities, and develop plans to achieve business objectives.
- Collaboration: The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leadership: The ability to lead and inspire a team, providing guidance and mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Results orientation: The ability to set and achieve ambitious goals and metrics, using data and analytics to measure and optimize product performance. It is taken as given that such an individual would have highly developed facilitation skills. Finally, the Lead Learning Architect should communicate effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using their leadership skills to inspire and motivate their team to achieve ambitious goals. They should encourage their team to think creatively and develop new solutions to address learner needs, while staying abreast of emerging learning technologies to enhance learning experiences.
