Factory Cleaner

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Factory Cleaner to join our team at Aladdins Carpet (PTY) LTD. As a Factory Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our production facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to a clean and safe working environment for all employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of factory floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Empty and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company cleaning standards.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks during factory shutdowns or as required.
- Maintain cleaning logs and records of tasks completed.
- Working hours will be on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 07h30 - 16h30 and Fridays from 07h30- 15h30.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to cleaning tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
