**Are you a talented Gerber Ladies or Kidswear Patternmaker? A leading Clothing Design Centre has a vacancy for an experienced, competent Gerber Patternmaker. Manual experience, but open to learn, will be considered.**
- Make patterns as per style sheets issued.
- Patterns to be checked before being issued for cutting.
- Make mock ups where required.
- Check pre-fits on the dummy before allowing machinist to complete the garment.
- Measure garments once machined.
- Liaise closely with relevant machinist on his/her pattern when in sewing.
- Pattern amendments to be made timeously and accurately.
- Achieve patternmaking deadlines.
- Develop blocks when required.
- Sign off pattern for production based on comparing seal, data sheet & sealed garment.
- Signing off that amendments requested have been applied to pattern.

**Key Requirements**
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- 3 years pattern making experience.
- Experience in Ladieswear and/or Kids.
- Experience working with Truworths
- Fabric: concepts, practices and procedures. Computer literate.
- Multi-tasking ability.
- Self-managed.
- Highly organized.
- Interpersonal.
- Assertive personality.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive, neat and organized.
- Good communication skills.
