Our client a global green energy company based in Sandton, requires a Compliance and Contract Analyst. This role will be based within the shared services team in JHB and will service the Global team.

Typical duties will include KYC (Know Your Customer) processing and monitoring of counterparties in line with applicable corporate policies; ensuring company secretarial obligations are met across the various jurisdictions; contract management for assets across the group globally.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing, recording, monitoring of counterparties, performing KYC in line with applicable corporate policies.
- Ongoing monitoring of counterparties following initial screening and escalating any issues accordingly.
- Coordinating and ensuring completion of all necessary Compliance related training by employees and selected counterparties (including anti-bribery and corruption and anti-money laundering training).
- Regular monitoring of sanctions lists and ensuring escalation of any applicable changes in circumstances.
- Assisting the line manager with performing CDD (Customer Due Diligence) for the organisation.

Qualifications required:

- Legal qualification
- Legal Degree
- Experience required:

- 5+ Years’ experience
- Compliance function KYC & CDD carrying out client/counterparty screening and ongoing monitoring, monitoring of sanctions lists.
- Experience with Refinitiv and/or WorldCheck systems or similar
- Attending to company secretarial obligations, filings, registrations, liquidations and acquisitions
- Contract Management of contracts related to energy projects and financing, monitoring of contract related obligations and covenants

Industry preference:

- Renewable energy (or energy in general).

Fully computer literate on:

- Microsoft Office / Sharepoint / OneDrive
- GEMS or related company secretarial software
- Contract management software

**Salary**: R300,000.00 - R380,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gauteng, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
