**YEARS OF EXPERIENCE**:

- 5 years
- Clear understanding of SHE systems & integration
- Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency in English
- Advanced proficiency in reporting writing & presentation
- Experience in mining, engineering, minerals, manufacturing & supply chain

**SKILLS/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- MS Excel (Advanced)
- MS Word (Intermediate)
- PowerPoint (Intermediate)
- ISO 14000 - Environment
- ISO 45000 - Health & Safety
- ISO 9001/2008 - Quality management
- Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993
- MHSA 29 of 1996

**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF JOB ROLE**:
**1.SHE Adherence**:

- Remains up to date with Health & Safety procedures
- Stays informed about emergency first aid kits/fire extinguishers and evacuation
- Adheres to SHE policies and procedures
- Checks that safety signs and signals are in place
- Instructs/Imparts knowledge and procedures to colleagues
- Monitor and Control Implements safety awareness in all activities
- Operates any company vehicle within safety standards
- Checks the safe operation of machines/equipment
- Institutes disciplinary action (in conjunction with HR) regarding non-compliance
- Reports equipment that is not in good working order
- Reports on vehicle usage and incidents

**2. SHE Risk Management - Program, Process & System Coordination**:

- Plans review process or baseline/ bow-tie assessments (ISO standards
- Plans & schedules critical controls
- Develops safety & risk control programmes
- Analyses & validates effectiveness of critical controls
- Coordinates & implements safety & risk control programmers
