**Delivery Drivers (Car) - Immediate Start**

**Job Type**: Contract / Independent Contractor

**About the Role**

We are recruiting **car delivery drivers** for a leading e-commerce brand. You will be responsible for delivering food and parcels across Cape Town.

Applicants must hold a valid **Code B/C/EC driver’s license**.
- Please note that we **do not** currently offer any car rental services.

**Minimum Requirements (Own Vehicle)**
- Reliable car (owned, rented, or borrowed)
- Valid ID (certified copy)
- Valid Code B/C/EC driver’s license (certified copy)
- Vehicle registration papers + valid license disk
- Valid roadworthy certificate
- Proof of residence (certified copy of bank statement acceptable)
- Smartphone with data (to run Takealot / Mr D Driver apps)
- Bank account details (for payouts)
- Clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted)

**Additional Requirements**

**For Foreign Nationals / Asylum Seekers**:

- All legal documentation must be valid and on hand (permits, visas, asylum documents, work authorization, etc.)
- Permit/visa must allow you to conduct business in South Africa (work permits are not accepted)

**If Using a Rented/Borrowed Vehicle**:

- All documents listed above, plus:

- Letter from vehicle owner granting permission to use the vehicle
- Copy of owner’s ID/passport
- Traffic Register Number (TRN) if owner is not South African
- BRNC (Business Registration Number Certificate) if vehicle is registered to a business
