**Job Desciption**:
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate slitter machine.
- Loads and unloads rolls from the machine.
- Wrap finished rolls of film and load onto pallet.
- Perform quality checks and ensure required tolerances.
- Checks for product quality and removes any of poor-quality film.
- Observe and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and or adjustments.
- Performing general physical activities i.e., lifting.
- Maintaining safe occupational health and safety standards.
- Maintain daily production records.
- Ad-hoc tasks which include general housekeeping.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent

**Experience Requirements**:

- 5 years Slitter/ Rewinder Operator experience.
- Experience in working with wrap around labels.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Have the ability to solve problems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Stress Tolerance.
- Results driven in order to meet set deadlines.
