We are located in the vibrant north of Johannesburg and are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of makeup artists.

**Position Overview**:As a Makeup Artist / Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the careers of aspiring makeup artists. Your creativity, technical skills, and ability to instruct and inspire will contribute to the success of our students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative makeup lessons, guiding students through practical sessions, and helping them develop their skills to a professional level.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate and explain makeup techniques, tools, and products, fostering a deep understanding among students.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance during hands-on makeup practice sessions.
- Design and develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
- Stay updated with the latest makeup trends, industry advancements, and product innovations to integrate into the curriculum.
- Cultivate a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and skill enhancement.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and academy staff to continuously enhance the curriculum and overall learning environment.
- Act as a mentor to students, offering career advice, portfolio guidance, and industry insights.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a professional Makeup Artist, demonstrating a high level of expertise in various makeup styles and techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable and relatable manner.
- Previous teaching or mentoring experience is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Nail Tech, Hair styling, or other related skills is advantageous.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your makeup artistry and versatility.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.

**Working Hours**:Monday - Saturday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
