Artisan Supervisor

**Duties**
- Effective control of production area within the organisation
- Ensuring manufacturing of components is done within standard times
- Plan, coordinate and control resources
- Implement policies and procedures
- Implement continuous improvement processes
- Manage performance of subordinates
- Edit and change programs on CNC machines
- Monitor performance of machines and attend to defects
- Do regular inspections on processes to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Do final inspections on manufactured components
- Liaise with Operations Manager to ensure production plan/schedule is effectively executed
- Compliance with all health and safety rules and regulations
**Qualifications**
- Qualified artisan (Machinist, Toolmaker, Fitter & Turner) (Red Seal certificate)
- Three to five years’ experience in the role of supervisor/Foreman
- Able to accurately interpret technical drawings and sketches
- Good knowledge of quality management systems, especially ISO 9001
