**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Perform daily cash up reconciliation of POS transactions and prepare weekly POS reports for management review.
- Process daily general ledger (GL) transactions and manage all paperwork and office duties.
- Liaise with insurance brokers and vehicle tracking companies, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Manage company records accurately and keep them up to date, including fleet management, key issuing, petrol cards, license renewals, and service bookings.
- Track material purchases and maintain precise records of company expenses across all enterprises.
- Conduct full bookkeeping functions for the farming enterprise, including maintaining an asset register.
- Issue safety PPE to staff and manage daily staff attendance registers, processing monthly attendance for payroll.
- Process monthly creditors and assist with various ad hoc duties as required.
- Collaborate with accountants, providing necessary documentation and information, including daily slip recon and tax requirements.
- Offer first aid assistance to staff and ensure staff records are accurate and current.
- Address labour, Popi, Paia, and OHS requirements, maintaining office cleanliness and organization (training will be provided)
- Allocate monthly account payments and assist staff with their queries and requests.
- Provide support to senior management and maintain updated Excel sheets.
- Resolve accounting queries or issues and reconcile monthly petty cash.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field are preferred.
**Salary**: R8 000,00 per month
