- WHAT YOU WILL DOThe main purpose of the Data Integration Specialist is to develop and assist with management of data warehousing in BankservAfrica, including data feeds, data quality, ETL and Mart development and to support the analytics strategy and projects via the provision, organisation and pre-processing of data. The position is primarily responsible for gathering and integrating data from source systems into the data structures and software that supply enterprise business intelligence (BI) solutions across BankservAfrica and its associated stakeholders. Performance tuning of new and existing Oracle database tables, schemas and ETL processes will be a key function of the Data Integration Specialist. The Data Integration Specialist will utilize the organisation’s ETL tools to establish data integration workflows for data movement, transformation and integration across multiple databases, including the BI environment. The Data Integration Specialist will be responsible for Capacity Planning and Performance Monitoring of the Oracle Data Warehouse and will continually assess database performance. This role will also be responsible for the provisioning of tokenised data to regulators such as the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) and the Payments Authority of South Africa (PASA) as and when required.
