We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who is passionate about automation, creating reports as well as alerts for our Monitoring Solutions team within our Game Intelligence department. This is a highly multi-skilled team who is passionate about data and adding value to the wider business. **Responsibilities**

**Gather Data and Build Datasets**
- work with various sources to create an accurate dataset fit to answer relevant questions
- ensure integrity, consistency and understanding of underlying data
- wherever possible, work to automate the collection, cleaning and manipulation of data to reduce future effort

**Perform Analysis of Data To Answer Business Questions**
- ensure thorough understanding of the highest priority business questions
- actively investigate trends and anomalies that can add business value
- use analytical and critical thinking to understand the patterns in the underlying data
- use this understanding to recommend business actions

**Build Reports and Models to satisfy business requirements**
- create clean reports and data visualisations to effectively communicate information from data
- ensure reports are accurate, and designed to answer the respective business questions
- build advanced statistical or ML models to understand underlying correlations and trends
- build advanced models to forecast future behaviour or results
- automate reports and distribute effectively to spread the value to relevant parts of the business
- integrate with existing data systems to productionize predictive models
- optimize algorithms to enhance their potential value
- develop custom programs to address unique data science/ analytics problems and deploy Big Data solutions on large scale data sets in the enterprise
- setting up and deploying the latest big data tools, design a solution that encapsulates systems dealing with both structured data and unstructured data and capture and evaluate results in a big data setting
- deploy big data solutions on large scale data sets in the enterprise and develop custom programs to address unique data science/analytics problems

**Project Management**
- manage moderate-scale projects and assist in management of large-scale or multi-stage projects
- work with stakeholders and collect business requirements for Data Science projects including establishing the business need, key stakeholders, scope, resourcing and success criteria for a specific issue
- prepare project plans, communicate the plan to the team and allocate the tasks
- Post graduate qualification in quantitative field like statistics, applied math, physics, engineering, computer science or related field
- 5 to 7 years’ applicable experience
- Expert statistical skills
- Expert analytical skills
- Advanced experience with SQL, R/Python (statistical programming), Tableau/PowerBI (data visualization), Spark/Hadoop (big data processing technologies)
- Advanced experience with statistical or machine-learning modelling
- Advanced domain understanding
- Advanced understanding of our system architecture
- Intermediate experience leading projects and mentoring others
- Problem solving involving critical & analytical thinking, creativity & innovation
