- Supervising activities of a beverage Can Manufacturing line to achieve EMU, Quality, Spoilage, Cost Optimization objectives
- Ensuring full compliance to Safety and Environmental Objectives in line with ISO 14001, ISO 22000 and OHSAS 18001 programs in the operation
- Supporting line to ensure that all Can produced adhere to set quality standards
- Achieve efficiency and spoilage targets in order to produce cost effective cans
- Machine availability and lost time is within target - Autonomous maintenance
- Manage usage of material, consumables and labour within the set standards in order to control operating costs
- Attract, retain and develop talent in order to ensure availability of requisite skills and delivery of results
- Support and sustain operational world class practices aligned with Can Do Excellence
- Manage the production plan to ensure the availability of resources
- Ensure business policies and BOP are adhered to
- Ensure continuous review of processes and systems in line with the QMS
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Diploma in Production/Operations Management/Engineering or Equivalent
- Qualified Artisan N3/Matric
- Experience in Can-Making will be an added advantage
- 5 years post-apprenticeship/In-service Training experience in manufacturing
- Be Systematic in solving people/process/technical problems
- Have sound leadership capabilities, sound business management and analytical skills
- Have people management skills, coaching, mentorship and performance management
- Possess effective communication and negotiation skills
- Have integrity, high energy levels and excellent interpersonal
- Be computer literate
