- Gauteng- Reporting to Plant Manger- Responsibilities:
- Running Fluidise beds: Managing material to ensure continuous and smooth production flow:
- Collecting and loading feed mix- Transporting feed mix to the feed bin for the roaster- Monitoring material in the feed bin to ensure consistent levels- Removing bed material from the roasters by draining as and when required- Monitor Roaster Temperature:
- Feed roaster continuously to ensure consistent temperature by checking roaster bed material levels at regular specified intervals- Monitor and record roaster, bag house and bed pressure temperature at regular intervals taking care to ensure temperatures are accurately recorded- Inspecting the roaster visually, by opening the door, in order to ensure optimal running at the correct temperature- Process Risk Management:
- Monitor different components in the roaster process and identify potential risks and hazards.- Attend to any identified risks or hazards by either removing obstructions or reporting issues which require a technical intervention immediately- Operating moving machinery: Operating moving machinery in a safe and responsible manner to optimally perform tasks:
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements and protocols as prescribed in company policies- Conduct daily inspections to ensure that machinery is in working condition- Report any faults or irregularities- Administration: Maintain accurate temperature logs, bag weights and records relating to processes and products:
- Record temperatures accurately as per standard processes- Label bags, ensuring that correct information is displayed and recorded on the relevant logs.- Self-development: Continuously strive to maintain relevant knowledge and improve skills- Removing fly ash bags from heat exchangers and bag house when full and transporting to the allocated areas by using the forklift- Checking product bags' condition to ensure mínimal dust emissions-
**Inherent Requirements**
- Matric/Grade 12/NQF- Valid Forklift license- Frontend Loader license- 12 months moving machinery experience, working experience in a mining environment- Skills:
- Ability to read, write and comprehension- Operating moving machinery- Health and Safety processes- Time management- Competencies: Learning agility, strong communication ability, team player, responsible, problem solving and analysis, attention to detail, accuracy, situational awareness, understanding of the environment, take direction and follow instructions**What Qualification**
