JOB TITLE - PROJECT MANAGER

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

- Must have managed software solutions deployment projects or similar.
- Must ensure accurate account of resources on projects.
- Must have sufficient high-level knowledge of leading industry IT software solutions.
- Effective task and time management skills
- Structured reporting.
- Must be able to compile status update reports.
- Effectively compile and present reports for management.
- Will manage all current and upcoming projects.
- Oversee and account for all projects.
- Must instill project governance of all projects.
- Will be responsible for Quality Assurance of all project documentation and all project
- deliverables
- Must implement project management processes
- Must ensure relationship development and management with all customers.
- Will be responsible for performance review of resources allocated to a project, for the duration
- of the project.
- Ensure all projects have drafted budget spend and monthly budget is submitted for approval.
- Must ensure all projects has risk register and mitigation plans that are updated Weekly.
- Must ensure all project documents are quality assured and up to Afrocentric standards.
- Will be responsible for knowing and adhering to customer payment schedules.
- Must ensure achievement of monthly project revenue forecasts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree/College diploma in Information Technology or Project Management or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum of 7 years' experience
- IT background is a MUST

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

- MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
- Communication
- Presentation skills

- Strong administration, and coordination skills
- Should be good at paying attention to detail
- Must have managed projects where IT software solution were being deployed
- Must be familiar with government internal processes (e.g. PFMA).
- Must have delivered projects for provincial/national government departments.
