We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our power station team to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of critical mechanical equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical plant equipment, including turbines, pumps, valves, gearboxes, compressors, and piping systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective actions promptly.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and maintenance manuals.
- Operate precision tools and equipment for alignment, measurement, and assembly.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

**Requirements**:

- Trade Test Certificate - Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
- N3/N4 Mechanical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in a power station or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of rotating machinery, steam systems, and pressure vessels.
- Good mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
