**Responsibilities**: - To erect/form a cartons according to required standard - To pack the required number of packets in a carton/box according to specification - To pack packets at packing speeds of the equipment as determined by Management - To identify and remove packets that that do not meet standard specification (i.e. T1s and T2,) - To ensure that packets packed are properly sealed with no “chicken runs” - To adhere to strict timekeeping - to be at the packing station when the shift begins or tea/lunch times stop and not to leave work station before the shift stops or when tea/lunch begins at all times. - To relief other packer as and when required or instructed by your manager - The packing station must not be stopped under any circumstances without the permission of the PMT or FLM - Machine and machine area are kept neat and clean during cleaning shifts / flavour changes or when the line is out of production - To comply with HACCP/CCP/AIB standards at all times - To adhere Environmental Health and Safety requirements and regulations at all times Perform other duties as and when required Qualifications: - Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science) - Technical qualification advantageous - Problem Solving Ability/Techniques - Team work **“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
