A lovely family is looking for an Au pair for their 9 year old

**Area**:Ruimsig
**Children’s Ages**: 9 years - Boy
**Working hours**:Monday, Tuesday - 13h30 - 19h00; Wednesday, Thursday - 13h30 - 17h00; Friday 11h30 - 16h00.
**School holiday hours**:10h00 - 16h00 but flexible.
**Duties**:School pickup, extramurals, homework, liaising with the school and teachers, drop off at mom’s and/or dad’s, preparing lunchbox, ensuring any school things are done (e.g. projects etc), communicate any requirements with parents. Shopping (groceries, any necessary items for Stian, clothes, stationary etc.). Cooking healthy lunch and dinner where required (Monday/Tuesday). Ensure child is under supervision at all times. Playing with him, activities etc. Holidays taking him on outings. Regular visits to the botanical gardens. Staying active etc. Supervision on playdates etc.
**Special Requirements**:Age 25+, must have au pair experience, someone with a good academic background will be needed to ensure homework is up to standard (we had issues previously with someone not being good with math), empathetic with my son but can maintain discipline and routine.
**Start Date and contract term**: March - permanent

**Offered Salary**:R8500 - R9000pm + Car will be provided.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
**Must have a clear criminal record
**Must have a passion for children
**Must have Matric
**Must have a South African ID document.
