Use health monitoring to proactively solve issues and ensure service quality.
Automate operation tasks to improve your efficiency and enable third-party operation teams with a Just-Enough-Administration approach.
Solve incidents and requests for improvement measures as well as problems to increase system stability and transparency.
Plan and implement changes, sometimes also outside of the normal business hours.
Stay up to date about security risks and mitigations to constantly strengthen security.
**Role-specific knowledge**:
Completed degree in Computer Science / Communications Engineering or another Degree program or comparable qualification.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience (also internationally) in the IT sector, some of them with the responsibility of managing large Active Directory environments.
Essential Skills
A few years of professional experience in the implementation and support of IT architectures
Expert experience in implementing and administering Microsoft Products, especially Active Directory, KMS, and PKI together with common network services like DNS, WINS, DHCP
Expert experience in Active Directory architecture and infrastructure
Advanced experience with the development and implementation of Active Directory security concepts and continuous security improvements
Hands-on experience with GPO implementation and Active Directory replication
Basic network knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Firewall
Hands-on experience in standardization and automation of operating tasks with PowerShell or other tools
Advanced experience in the administration of Windows Server operating systems
Advanced experience in Disaster Recovery methods and tools for Active Directory
Advantageous Skills
Experience in working with hybrid cloud environments, ideally Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Active Directory)
Experience working in an agile environment.
Practical knowledge of Quest Recovery Manager for Active Directory
Experience in setting up IT Security, especially with Zero Trust solutions, Microsoft Defender products, and Active Directory security best practices.
Teamwork and strong internal and external communication skills
Analytical thinking skills to coordinate, analyze and fix technical faults.
Self-starter and problem-solver with a strong delivery focus
