Waitron

We need a competent waitron to take orders and deliver food and drinks to our patrons.

Customers have a better dining experience when they have a good waitron. We're looking for a person with the patience, personality, and perseverance necessary to succeed in this position.

The duties of a waitron include greeting and serving customers, providing comprehensive menu information, juggling multiple front-of-the-house tasks, and collecting the bill. We would like to meet you if you can perform well in fast-paced settings. You must be courteous to our customers. You should also be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with our kitchen staff to ensure that orders are delivered promptly.

Keep in mind that some waitron positions may necessitate working shifts, weekends, and holidays.

**Responsibilities**:

- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- Deliver bills and collect bill payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the scullery for cleaning
- Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu, and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests

Requirements and skills:

- A minimum of two years' experience as a waiter
- Hands-on experience with Pilot's ordering information system
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts
- Own, reliable transportation
- No criminal record

R6500 p/m basic plus tips
