Network/system Administrator

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Supporting Office 365 Tenants
- Experience in installing and supporting Windows Servers and the respective services that fall part of the Windows Server operating system.
- Group Policy design and configuration
- Administer Microsoft Hyper-V
- Responsible for Server & Desktop Support (Office & Production network)
- Proactively manage network systems, including switches and WIFI access points.
- Solid understanding of IPv4
- Perform disaster recovery operations
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation of infrastructure environment
- Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor escalations
- Carry out special tasks at Management's direction
- Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning
- Daily System Maintenance (Office & Production network), including devicesstatus, backup log, anti-virus log, security access log, any other check itemsaccording to relevant procedure, etc..
- System Patch Management
- Network Installation and Troubleshooting.
- PC & IT’s peripherals installation and troubleshooting
- Security protection for sensitive information/data
- Ensure all processes are complying with security regulations.
- Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client serverenvironment.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Matric
- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar position
- Extensive knowledge of desktop, server and network hardware, systems and services.
- Extensive knowledge in Cloud computing
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent administration, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and spoken English language
- Creative and solutions-driven
- Ability to plan and meet deadlines under pressure
- Self-motivated
- Own Transport
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
