As a **Senior Technical Training Instructor**in **Cape Town, South Africa**, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to making possibilities happen in the payments industry

**A typical day at ACI for a Senior Technical Training Instructor is**:
Responsible for maintaining an in-depth working knowledge of the ACI product assortment and possessing the ability to conduct technical product education courses for customers. Partners with the manager and other key stakeholders to develop the learning strategy. Builds a collaborative culture within the Learning Services team. Serves as a technical expert, coach, and mentor within the department. Synthesizes data acquired from a variety of sources with the Company’s Product Road Map to create strategic training solutions. Leads group to identify training gaps within the product set. Regularly acts as a lead resource in project planning, new hire training, release updates, and development of customer education projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creates and updates course materials as required for new software releases, new products, fixes, customer feedback and new material as identified. Evaluates enhancements and/or updates to the product software to determine impact to existing education materials and networks.
- Proactively keeps abreast of product/solutions changes as a result of fixes, new releases, customer projects and software development methodology changes. Maintains a close working relationship with product/project development groups.
- Oversees the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of education networks, demo and test systems. Provides guidance and training to other staff members, as required.
- Mentors staff members by sharing professional expertise and supporting the growth and development of others
- Acquires feedback on all courses conducted, leads cross-functional round tables to gather information for future requirements for products; incorporates feedback into future learning strategies for clients.
- Continuous improvement analysis of product training course framework while understanding the inter process communications between products.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of
Business Conduct and Ethics.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in design, development, implementation and assessment of learning
curriculum.
- Skilled in creating learning strategies and interventions.
- **Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job**:

- Master’s degree preferred.
- Competence in programing languages such as C++ is strongly encouraged. A developer-level methodology course-level strongly preferred.SQL for databases (both for training lab/infrastructure installation and maintenance as well as for teaching technical classes).
