Crew Life at Sea is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, including supervising a team of housekeeping staff and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain the cleanliness of all guest cabins, public areas, and crew quarters.
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure the housekeeping department is well-stocked at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest cabins and public areas to ensure they meet company standards and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and maintenance, to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.
- Maintain a budget for the housekeeping department and ensure all expenses are within budget.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Requirements:_
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
- Understanding of budgeting and inventory management.
- Ability to handle and resolve guest complaints effectively.
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed.
